An SCS includes twisted-pair and fiber optic cable lines, patch panels, telecom outlets, cabinets and racks, trunking and trays, as well as cross-connect equipment. All lines are labeled and tested before the network is commissioned.
We use Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A and, if required, Cat7, including shielded options. The choice depends on required speed, route length, facility specifics and bandwidth reserve, so the network remains relevant for years.
In most cases, yes: it houses patch panels, switches, routers, UPS, PDU and other equipment. A cabinet ensures order, protection from damage, convenient maintenance and proper cable management.
Yes. Each line gets a unique number; ports on patch panels and outlets are labeled. After installation, we test with a cable tester or, if required, perform Fluke certification and provide reports and line passports, which simplifies maintenance and future expansion.
